Certified Medical Assistant

At Skin and Aesthetics Center, our Medical Assistants play a key role in delivering high-quality dermatologic and cosmetic care to our patients across our growing network of practice locations. As part of a comprehensive healthcare management services organization, this position combines clinical support with patient-centered service, ensuring a smooth and elevated experience in a fast-paced, high-end medical setting.The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about skin health and aesthetics. You'll work closely with our providers to assist during general dermatology and cosmetic procedures, manage clinical flow, and contribute to a supportive, welcoming environment for both patients and team members.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentCompletion of a Medical Assistant training programCertified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent credentialPreferred Qualifications:Previous experience in dermatology or aesthetics strongly preferredProficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systemsBilingual (preferred) - ability to communicate with a diverse patient populationStrong interest in skin health, cosmetic treatments, and patient educationResponsibilities:Greet and prepare patients for dermatology exams and cosmetic proceduresTake vital signs, review medical histories, and update patient charts in the EHR systemAssist providers with procedures such as skin checks, biopsies, cryotherapy, suture removal, and aesthetic services (e.g., chemical peels, laser treatments, injectables)Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection following sterilization and safety protocolsMaintain exam rooms and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for patient careSupport front desk operations as needed, including answering phones and scheduling appointmentsTravel between assigned practice locations as needed to provide coverageDeliver a concierge-level patient experience from start to finishTravel Requirements:Reliable transportation required for travel between designated practice locationsLocations Required :West deptford (twice a week)mullica hill (once a week)sicklerville(once a week)Mondays offKey Skills:Proficient in medical assisting, including phlebotomy, vital signs, and specimen processingFamiliarity with dermatology instruments and proceduresStrong knowledge of sterilization techniques and clinical safety standardsExcellent communication, organizational, and time management skillsExperience with EHR systems, patient documentation, and scheduling #J-18808-Ljbffr Nj Certified Dermatology Pc
