Key Responsibilities\n

As a Virtual Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing and adhering to individualized treatment plans under clinical supervision, ensuring that each client receives tailored support.

  • Maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, to facilitate effective care and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Facilitating and leading consumer support groups to promote collective healing and community engagement.

  • Participating actively in staff meetings, case conferences, and targeted training sessions to refine skills and integrate best practices into your work.

  • Conducting individual virtual sessions with clients and their families, providing them with the tools needed for effective coping and recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily supports a diverse clientele, including expectant and new parents experiencing perinatal mental health challenges. Clients come from various backgrounds, presenting unique needs and perspectives, which requires a culturally competent approach to care that you will help to foster through individualized interventions.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
  • \n
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
  • \n
  • A clean history with no medical malpractice claims, verified by a third party.
  • \n
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in a community health setting is preferred, particularly if it involves working with perinatal populations. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems is advantageous, as is prior experience in group facilitation and psychoeducational programming.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range between USD 100,000 and 105,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and caseload.
