Agriculture Shop Mechanic

- 3-5 years of experience working in a maintenance role is required.
- Overhaul gas and diesel engines, transmissions, and differentials using hand tools, hoists, and welding equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, fuel, braking, and A/C system issues
- Inspect, test, repair, replace, and install components on automotive, commercial, and agricultural vehicles
- Perform hydraulic testing on pumps, motors, valves, and cylinders
- Analyze drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications for disassembly and assembly procedures
- Determine proper welding methods and equipment using knowledge of metallurgy and fabrication techniques
- Fabricate custom lifting attachments, hydraulic systems, shields, and related components as needed
- Inspect and adjust safety devices, guards, and loose components
- Replace and service batteries and charging system components
- Read parts manuals and identify necessary repair parts
- Complete repair request forms and communicate parts/material needs to supervisors promptly
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas and tools
- Bilingual in English & Spanish
- Experience in maintenance, welding, or automotive is preferred.
