Employment Litigation Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Employment Litigation Associate to join their team in Kansas City, MO. The successful candidate will work on a variety of employment-related legal matters, providing expert advice and representation to employers. Duties Defend and litigate lawsuits involving employment-related claims and discrimination charges. Advise and counsel employers on employment and labor law issues. Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, and in mediations and arbitrations. Requirements JD from an ABA‑accredited law school with excellent academic credentials. 3+ years of experience in employment or commercial litigation. Employment law background strongly preferred. Current KS and MO Bar admission in good standing. Understanding of current state and federal agency procedures. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA‑accredited law school. Certifications Bar admission in Kansas and Missouri. Skills Excellent written and oral communication skills. Attention to detail and commitment to excellence. Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills. Commitment to professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork.
