Job Title: CT Technologist Location: Chico, CA Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Shift: Nights Shift Length: 12 hours Days Off: Variable Pay Range: $50.50–$68.18/hour advertised; starting pay is based on applicable experience, with a maximum new-hire starting rate of $52.45/hour. Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 Key Responsibilities Perform CT scans and general diagnostic radiographic examinations. Operate CT scanners and X-ray equipment safely and efficiently. Prepare and administer contrast media, including intravenous contrast injections. Prepare patients, examination rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications. Ensure imaging quality, radiation safety, and compliance with applicable standards and procedures. Deliver excellent patient care while maintaining professional and ethical standards. Apply knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, patient positioning, radiation physics, and quality assurance. Collaborate with the radiology team to support high-quality diagnostic imaging services. Education & Experience Two years of diagnostic X-ray experience preferred. One year of CT experience preferred. New graduates are welcome to apply. Required Qualifications Current California Radiologic Technology (CRT) certificate issued by the California Department of Public Health. Approved CPR certification. ARRT certification and California fluoroscopy permit to be obtained within six months of hire. Preferred Qualifications Current ARRT certification. Radiographic contrast media and venipuncture certification. Advanced certification in CT. Required Skills Strong knowledge of human anatomy, cross-sectional anatomy, and radiographic positioning. Understanding of radiation protection, radiation physics, radiobiology, and quality assurance. Excellent communication, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
