Sumter Animal Medical Center Looking for a Veterinary Technician or Assistant role where you can grow and lead? Animal Medical Clinic is searching for an experienced Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our fast-paced, high-quality hospital team. What You'll Do

• Provide safe and effective patient handling and restraint
• Support preventative care appointments and vaccine protocols
• Assist with emergency and surgical patient care, including IV catheter placement
• Obtain diagnostics including radiographs, phlebotomy, and laboratory sample collection
• Perform in-house laboratory testing and patient monitoring
• Support veterinarians during exams, procedures, and treatments
• Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation
• Serve as a mentor and positive resource for fellow team members

What You'll Bring

• Previous veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience required
• LVT or CVT credentials strongly preferred
• Strong technical and patient care skills
• Excellent communication and client service abilities
• Confidence working in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Positive attitude and collaborative mindset
• Compassion for patients, clients, and coworkers
• Desire to continue learning and helping others grow professionally
