Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.
• Coordinate care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
• Document patient care and status; participate in planning, implementing, and evaluating care plans.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative staff to ensure safe, effective patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in California
• Operating Room (OR) nursing experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (RN)
• BLS certification required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced OR environment and participate in travel as part of a travel assignment
