Strength Starts with You!Bring energy, precision, and safety to every rep as a Silver Sneaker Instructor at the Lampeter-Strasburg YMCA (Thursdays 10:00–11:00 AM, with opportunities to sub weekdays, weeknights, and weekends). This role exists to deliver a powerful SilverSneakers BOOM Muscle experience that helps active older adults build strength and confidence—while keeping form and participant wellbeing front and center.Key responsibilities include leading BOOM Muscle classes, offering clear exercise options for multiple fitness levels, setting up and caring for equipment, staying current on wellness trends, and keeping accurate attendance records.Required qualifications/skills:- Certified SilverSneakers BOOM Muscle Instructor (Tivity Health)- CPR PRO/AED/First Aid certification- 1–2 years of group exercise instruction experience- Strong coaching voice, motivational presence, and ability to cue safe techniqueReady to ignite a class that members look forward to all week?
