Job Description

School Psychologists are needed to provide essential psychological and educational services for a local school community. This contract-based opportunity is located near Franklin, IN, and offers the chance to work collaboratively with educators, families, and administrators.

Key Qualifications:

Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or related field
Valid state certification/license as a School Psychologist
Strong background in psychological assessment and evidence-based interventions
Solid understanding of special education regulations, including IEP development
Excellent communication, consultation, and collaboration skills
Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred
Ability to handle a diverse caseload and adapt to changing priorities

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychological and psycho-educational assessments to support student learning and wellbeing
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and review Individualized Education Plans
Provide counseling, behavioral intervention, and crisis support services to students
Offer consultation services to teachers and parents on academic, behavioral, and social/emotional concerns
Contribute to data-driven decision-making and school-based problem-solving teams
Maintain thorough and timely documentation, reporting, and confidentiality per school and district requirements
