Construction Project CoordinatorDarien, Illinois, United StatesWight & Company, an award winning, full service Architectural, Engineering and Construction Management firm with offices in Darien and Chicago, has an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our fast paced Construction Management team!Responsibilities:Support Project Managers and group management with the following tasks:• Prepare and issue subcontracts• Draft Change Orders for execution by subcontractors and PM's• Receive and review Certificates of Insurance for contract compliance• Coordinate submittals and closeout documentation with subcontractors.• Prepare bid packages and addenda; upload/distribute as required• Participate in bid openings as requested and document results• Receive and process subcontractor pay applications in coordination with the Accounting group.• Assist departmental leadership as requested• Other tasks as requiredRequirements:• 5+ year's experience as an Administrative or Project Assistant in the construction, engineering or architecture industry.• Experience with contracts, change orders, bid packages, insurance and bonds;• Strong knowledge of construction accounting• Detail oriented individual with good organizational skills;• Highly self motivated with the ability to work alone or in teams.• Excellent oral and written and communication skills;• Strong knowledge of Microsoft office suite• Fluency with CMIC a significant plusSalary Range: $55,000 - $80,000.
