Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Behavioral Health Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/07/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel RN Behavioral Health Facility: Aspirus Rhinelander – Inpatient Behavioral Health Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Contract: 13 Weeks Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly Weekend: Every other weekend Holiday: Rotation required Requirements Active RN License AHA BLS certification required Prefer 1–2 years of Behavioral Health specialty experience Behavioral Health/Psychiatric Nursing experience preferred Medical-Surgical background preferred Epic EMR/charting experience preferred Associate Degree or Certificate required Bachelor's Degree preferred Job Duties Medication administration/passing Patient care and assessments Nursing documentation Milieu management Care for inpatient behavioral health patients Unit Details Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit 11 beds ; maximum active capacity noted as 8 Typical ratio: 1 RN to 5–6 patients when unit is full Additional Requirements Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility May float to Stevens Point Inpatient BHU if needed Mix of 8-hour and 12-hour variable shifts OT after 80 hours worked in the second week Any scrub color allowed Eligible for up to 36 hours of low-census unbillable time during the contract During flu season, travelers declining flu and COVID vaccinations must wear a mask at all times per facility policy About Care Career Care Career brings together a portfolio of leading healthcare staffing organizations, each delivering specialized talent solutions across the industry.
