About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neuro ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar specialty required License: RN License required Certifications: BLS + ACLS required (American Heart Association only) Must-Have: ICU experience required. Neurosurgery experience preferred. Epic experience required. Basic Arrhythmia experience required. Description: Join us as an experienced inpatient Registered Nurse. Provide care in an intensive care unit specializing in critically ill adult patients with various neuro diagnoses. Conditions include stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage, surgical resections, and trauma. Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills. Perform specialized interventions such as hemodynamic monitoring and hypothermia management. Work collaboratively with a supportive leadership team and interdisciplinary care team. Manage a patient population in an 18-bed unit certified as a Comprehensive Stroke Center. Care for patients with a variety of diagnoses including ischemic strokes and traumatic brain injuries. Must be willing to work weekends and some holidays. Complete a telemetry test prior to start, achieving a passing score.
