Lead IEP Special Education Teacher 2026–2027 School Year | Maywood, IL | Up to $65/hour Ampersand Therapy is hiring a dedicated Lead IEP Special Education Teacher for a full-time position for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year in Maywood, IL.

Position Details

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday Start Date: August 18th, 2026 Location: Maywood School District 89 Role Details: Case Manager / IEP Lead with Middle School Service Area: Instructional support, IEP collaboration, progress monitoring

Your Key Responsibilities

• Case Manager to Middle School students with IEPs
• IEP Lead to Middle School Special Education Team
• Provide IEP best practices, coaching, mentorship, and support to Special Education Team

What We're Looking For

• Valid Illinois PEL with LBS1 endorsement
• Fingerprinting and background check required before start
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Passion for inclusive education and student-centered practices
