Job Title: Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer
Location: Columbia, SC
Type: Contract | 13 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Night Shift | Saturday, Sunday, Monday | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 36 Hours Per Week | No Call Required

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer for an exciting Travel or Local job in Columbia, SC.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures according to physician orders and department protocols.

• Conduct vascular ultrasound examinations and assist with interpretation support.

• Prepare and educate patients prior to imaging procedures.

• Monitor patient condition throughout procedures to ensure comfort and safety.

• Operate and maintain ultrasound imaging equipment effectively.

• Accurately document patient information and imaging results within EPIC.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to support quality patient care.

• Follow all infection control, safety, and departmental guidelines.

• Maintain efficiency and productivity during overnight shifts.

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care at all times.

Requirements:

• Registered in Vascular Technology: ARDMS-RVT or CCI-RVS.

• Registered in Echocardiography: ARDMS-AE and/or ARDMS-PE or CCI-RCS.

• Current BLS Certification required.

• Minimum 1 year of EPIC experience required.

• Dual Certification in Echocardiography and Vascular Ultrasound is mandatory.

• Candidates who are not dual certified will not be considered.

• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular imaging protocols and patient monitoring.

• Excellent communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experienced Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer with strong vascular and echocardiography expertise.

• Proficient in cardiovascular imaging procedures and patient assessment.

• Dependable, team-oriented healthcare professional comfortable working night shifts.
