AWS/CES is hiring for a Maintenance Technician
Location: Warren, MI
1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM | $32.26/hour
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance & Repair
- Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment.
- Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic repairs.
- Repair electrical circuits up to 110 volts.
- Complete equipment rebuilds and refurbishments.
- Perform scheduled PMs.
- Recommend improvements to PM programs.
- Complete PM work orders.
- Read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Use precision measuring instruments and diagnostic equipment.
- Maintain equipment within manufacturing tolerances.
- Support equipment upgrades and installations.
- Recommend process improvements and spare parts.
- Assist with production line improvements.
- Follow OSHA regulations and LOTO procedures.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Complete work according to company standards.
- Journeyman's Card or equivalent experience.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to pass Maintenance Technician aptitude test.
- Strong troubleshooting experience with:
- Mechanical systems
- Electrical systems
- Hydraulic systems
- Pneumatic systems
- Robotic equipment
- Industrial machinery
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
