Sr Financial Systems Engineer - Workday Financials ERP

Posting Type Remote/Hybrid Job Overview ABOUT THE ROLE This role will be the lead technical expert and own all integrations for Workday Financials and related matters. The Senior Financial Systems Engineer will partner closely with various stakeholders to research, design, build, maintain, and scale integrations between Workday and other systems. The ideal candidate will have high fluency in both functional and technical discussions with the gumption to drive solutions and curiosity to seek continuous improvement. This role will report into Financial Systems leadership and can be remote-based with travel flexibility. Responsibilities What You’ll Do Lead all aspects of Workday integration development and maintenance Monitor, triage, and resolve issues performing detailed root cause analyses while effectively communicating with impacted parties Identify process improvements and opportunities and quickly act on them Collaborate closely with third‑party resources and stay up to date on releases and new feature enhancements Champion innovation and automation through AI and other intelligent solutions Create clear and concise documentation (e.g., technical design, data lifecycle, unit testing) Ensure compliance controls satisfy audit and SOX requirements Requirements What We’re Looking For Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent experience 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Workday Studio, RaaS integrations, BIRT, EIB, complex calculated fields, XSLT, etc. Strong working knowledge of APIs, enterprise application development platforms, and web services (SOAP, REST) Proficient with middleware tools such as Workato, Boomi, Fivetran Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently with Finance and IT teams Exceptional attention to detail Preferred Workday Pro Integrations certification a big plus Benefits Competitive salary, health and retirement programs, wellness resources Discretionary time off (DTO), parental leave for primary and secondary caregivers, two annual company breaks, home office stipend, and an equity program Compensation & Benefits: Competitive base salary, annual performance bonus, long‐term incentives Salary range: $93,000 to $139,000, with final offer based on experience, skill set, compensation equity, and internal pay equity Required Skills Application Development Collaboration Computer Programming Continuous Improvement Design Enterprise Application Development Integration Development Leadership Problem Solving Process Improvements Product Development Project Management Quality Assurance (QA) Software Development System Designs Technical Support Troubleshooting Workday Financials #J-18808-Ljbffr
