Job Title Travel RN – Free-Standing Emergency Department (FSED) Location Roanoke, VA | Free-Standing Emergency Department Schedule / Job Type Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days | 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM | Expected start October 2026 | 4 weekend shifts per schedule Key Responsibilities Provide nursing care for both high and low acuity emergency department patients in an 8-bed free-standing ED setting Maintain a 4:1 patient ratio while delivering safe, effective care to critically ill patients Perform medication administration and support critical patient care needs Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, EMTs, and mid-level providers Utilize Meditech EMR for accurate and timely documentation Operate GE equipment as required within the department Required Qualifications Active RN license valid for practice in Virginia Minimum 2 years of emergency department nursing experience Demonstrated ability to care for critically ill patients Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC Preferred Experience / Skills ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment Why Join Us Opportunity to gain experience in a free-standing emergency department environment with a consistent, structured team model Work within a focused, fast-paced ED setting with a manageable unit size and defined staffing structure Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 792114.
