Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 8 years of documented experience in an industrial setting, supporting manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include electrical and mechanical tasks, wiring, bending conduit, using voltmeters, and communicating effectively with supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical tasks in an industrial setting.
• Execute wiring, conduit bending, and usage of voltmeters.
• Support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including switchgear and panel wiring.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• State of Michigan Journeyman Electrician License or 8+ years of documented experience.
• Proficiency in conduit bending, wiring, and blueprint reading.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and industrial troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to perform electrical installations and repairs.
• Effective communication skills.
• Experience in an industrial manufacturing and construction environment.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and standards.

Work Environment

The work involves maintaining and relocating industrial equipment, with approximately 70–80% of time spent on maintenance tasks such as relocating and replacing machinery and responding to emergency calls. The environment is a large manufacturing facility with active production operations, where safety, communication, and teamwork are central to daily work. Company transportation is provided for project work, and company vehicles may be available after a training period for those who progress into foreman or lead roles.

This is a Permanent position based out of Whitehall, MI.

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
