Responsibilities

Summary of Essential Duties:

• Provides direct and indirect care services, including, but not limited to, the administration of medications and therapeutic agents necessary to implement treatment, disease prevention, or rehabilitative plan of care
• Delivers direct care to assigned patients in an ambulatory setting
• Prepares patients and assists providers during outpatient procedures
• Identifies and assesses patient safety concerns with respect to age and developmental considerations
• Provides care to special patient populations and patients with diverse cultural backgrounds

Qualifications

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required
• BSN preferred

Certifications/Licensure:

• Current, unrestricted California RN license required
• ACLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
• Specialty certification required for internal CNIII or willing to obtain one for external hires within one (1) year from start of hire

Experience:

• A minimum of 3 year of acute care nursing experience required
• Procedural experience preferred
