TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Ophthalmologist with fellowship training in Vitreoretinal Surgery for a permanent opportunity with a growing, academic-affiliated ophthalmology program in North Carolina.

Schedule

• Full-time schedule
• Rotating call coverage

Practice Environment

• High-volume tertiary referral center with complex ophthalmic cases
• Growing multi-specialty ophthalmology program
• Strong referral network from regional providers and community clinicians
• Newly developing ophthalmology residency program (launching 2026)
• State-of-the-art outpatient clinic located near hospital

Clinical Responsibilities

• Surgical and medical management of vitreoretinal diseases
• Outpatient clinic and surgical procedures
• Participation in teaching and resident education
• Opportunities for research and academic involvement

Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certified – Ophthalmology
• Fellowship training in Vitreoretinal Surgery required
