Job Description

National Retail Transportation is hiring CDL-A Port Drivers in Compton for local container pick-ups and drop-offs from the Port of Long Beach. This position involves local port and city driving, transporting containers between the ports, customer locations, and designated facilities. No-touch freight, home daily, and opportunities to earn additional pay based on productivity!!!!

What We Offer Our Truck Drivers:

• Home Daily - enjoy a consistent schedule
• Pay: $28 per hour
• Average Weekly Pay : $1,100 to $1,300
• Additional Earning Opportunity: Earn additional compensation based on completed port turns and productivity!!!!
• Consistent Work: Approximately 2 full port turns per day / 10 turns per week
• Overtime available
• Schedule : Monday to Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm
• Operate newer, well-maintained equipment
• Paid Orientation & Safety Training

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Minimum of 1 year Class A driving experience (or equivalent military driving experience) within the last 3 years
• Valid TWIC Card
• Must maintain a safety-focused driving history; clean MVR/PSP and employment history preferred
• Ability to read, write, and speak English in compliance with DOT regulations
• Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet DOT medical qualifications
• Current DOT physical certification
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
