We have an immediate opening for an experienced Plumber and Helper to service residential and commercial clients. You must have extensive experience performing repairs on different piping systems, snaking drains, fixing leaks, and installing pipes and water heaters. This is a great opportunity to join a company that has been serving the community for over 40 years.
Full-time position, 40 hours per week, hours: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Compensation for a Helper starts at $18.00 an hour; experienced plumbers start at $30 p/hour
Responsibilities
- Diagnose plumbing problems and perform repairs
- Install, assemble, maintain, and repair pipes and plumbing fixtures
- Locate and repair water line leaks and remove clogs
- Install household appliances such as dishwashers, water heaters, toilets, and sinks.
- Test plumbing and other installed fixtures to ensure proper function
- Follow state laws and regulations and adhere to local building codes
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of plumbing experience is required
- Valid state plumbing license is a plus!!
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required
- Proficient with plumbing tools, materials, and equipment
- Expert knowledge of piping and ventilation systems
- Available to work on call and respond immediately to plumbing emergencies
