Lead AWS Data Engineer
Virtual Vocations Inc
To support a strategic Annuity Platform Implementation, the fully remote Lead AWS Data Engineer will establish and lead enterprise data management capabilities, focusing on data architecture, governance, and complex data analysis. Key responsibilities Define and maintain enterprise data architecture strategy, principles, and best practices Lead data architecture activities for the annuity platform implementation program, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives Establish and lead the organization's Data Governance program, developing policies and frameworks for data quality and management Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or related field 15+ years of experience in data architecture, data management, or enterprise information management Proven experience designing enterprise-scale data integration architectures Strong hands-on experience with AWS tools and technologies: S3, Redshift, Athena, Glue Experience leading complex data migration and system implementation initiatives
