Healthcare Tech Senior Associate - EpicCare Inpatient

Overview Huron helps healthcare organizations transform their digital capabilities to improve clinical and financial outcomes. As a Senior Associate on the Epic EHR team, you will work with technical and project management consultants to support integrated initiatives that optimize Epic systems, driving sustainable, enterprise-wide transformation. Your role will collaborate with cross‑functional teams and client stakeholders to deliver innovative, data‑driven solutions that address complex digital challenges. You will align Epic capabilities, enhance interoperability, streamline workflows, and improve patient outcomes. You will also foster a supportive, inclusive environment, mentor team members, and build trusted client relationships. Responsibilities Partner with a team of healthcare, technical, and project management consultants to ensure seamless integration, data migration, and system performance of Epic systems. Leverage technical expertise in EpicCare inpatient modules to optimize system functionality, workflow, and technology for improved hospital operations. Provide guidance and recommendations on Epic applications, offering suggestions and participating in discussions on operational and technology improvements. Identify opportunities for system optimization and enhancement to improve efficiency and user satisfaction. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience; advanced degree highly desirable. Current EpicCare certification with extensive knowledge of its products and solutions. Additional certifications (OpTime, Willow, ASAP, Ambulatory, etc.) are a significant plus. Deep Clinical Case Management experience to support workflow optimizations and revenue improvement. Experience in a large integrated team, strong communication, curiosity, critical thinking, and application. Experience supporting Utilization Review, efforts to reduce length of stay, AI initiatives related to clinical documentation, etc. 7+ years of Epic experience providing consulting in hospitals and healthcare systems, including prior implementation experience. Experience providing project management and leadership. Current permanent U.S. work authorization required.
