Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Schedule: Shift: 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:

• Active nursing license in NY
• Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS
• TNCC certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Department (ED) with some pediatric experience
• Travel experience required
• EMR experience: EPIC
• Driver's license with address that matches demographics

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Assess and document patients' conditions and needs accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while monitoring for side effects.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and care plans.
• Float to other areas of the facility as needed.

• Must include RTO at the time of submission
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Charge capability is highly preferred
