RN - MedSurg

Day shift, 3x12‑hour shifts (07:30‑19:30). Every other weekend and holiday are required. 36 hours per week guarantee. Job Description The Neuro Med/Surg Tele Nurse will provide care in a Med/Surg Telemetry Certified Stroke Center and a Level IV Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU). The nurse will primarily work with patients who have neuro‑related diagnoses while also supporting other patient populations as needed. Responsibilities Provide nursing care to patients with neurological disorders. Monitor patients using telemetry and respond to changes in conditions. Administer medications and manage IV therapy and hemodialysis as required. Document and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams. Support patients and families in understanding their conditions and treatments. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Two years of neurology and medical‑surgical telemetry experience. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to orientation. Valid Maryland or Compact RN license at the time of submission.
