Job Summary This role is responsible for producing precise, high-quality welds on a variety of metals using the Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW/TIG) process. The ideal candidate will have experience working with detailed fabrication projects, the ability to read engineering drawings, and a strong commitment to quality and safety. The TIG Welder will collaborate with the fabrication, machining, and quality teams to ensure components and assemblies are produced accurately and delivered on schedule. Key Responsibilities Perform TIG (GTAW) welding on metals such as stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, copper, and nickel alloys Utilize additional welding processes including MIG (GMAW), brazing, and soldering when required Weld various components including pipes, tubes, plates, flanges, manifolds, and assemblies according to specifications Interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and production instructions Set up welding equipment and select proper filler materials while adjusting machine settings as needed Ensure welds meet quality standards, internal specifications, and AWS/ASME requirements Perform visual inspections and make adjustments or repairs to welds when necessary Use measuring tools to confirm proper alignment, fit‑up, and dimensions Follow all safety protocols and PPE guidelines Maintain a clean and organized workspace Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and quality personnel to address welding or fabrication concerns Qualifications High school diploma or GED At least 1 year of TIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication setting Experience welding stainless steel is required; experience with aluminum or specialty alloys is a plus Ability to weld in multiple positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead) Experience welding thin‑wall tubing and precision components is Knowledge of AWS welding symbols and basic metallurgy Ability to successfully complete a TIG welding qualification test (6G position, 1\" pipe with .133\" wall) Strong attention to detail and dedication to producing quality work Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 20 lbs Dependable with strong teamwork and communication skills If you’re ready to grow your career with a company that invests in its people, apply today. #J-18808-Ljbffr
