Assistant Track Coach Columbia High School – Spring Session 2026 – Assistant Track Coach Position Details Position Type: Athletics/Activities/ Activity Sponsor Date Posted: 3/25/2026 Location: Columbia High School Date Available: Spring 2026 The Position The candidate must have a sincere interest and desire to put forth the maximum effort into his/her coaching responsibilities. Qualifications Required New Jersey Instructional Certificate or Substitute Certification with Athletic Endorsement preferred. Directly responsible to the Director of Athletics and Student Activities and school administration for the satisfactory performance of all coaching responsibilities. At least two years of experience as a track coach. Full responsibility for supervision and conduct of all team members while under his/her jurisdiction and for conducting necessary practice sessions. Assume full‑coaching responsibilities at all scheduled meets. Supervise and administer the programs during the sessions and issue and handle all necessary equipment. Demonstrated knowledge in this area. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident/immigrant status.
