About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for its U.S. banking entity. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end information security and cybersecurity program, including governance, strategy, policies, and standards. This role demands a leader who can own the bank's cyber risk, regulatory relationships, and ensure the program aligns with the global security organization. The CISO will lead various security domains such as identity and access security, cloud, infrastructure, and application security, data protection, and vulnerability management. Additionally, the role involves incident management, third-party risk, security testing, and training, as well as representing the bank to regulators and leading security-related examinations. Applicants for the CISO position should have a background in cybersecurity, information security, or technology risk within U.S. banking or another regulated financial institution. Experience with U.S. banking regulators and a deep understanding of modern cloud infrastructure and technology platforms are essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of presenting cybersecurity risk to Boards, executive management, and regulators, and be adept at both governance and technical discussions. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, the ability to build relationships across organizational boundaries, and a commitment to evidence-based decision-making.
