Business Analyst - Buy-Side Trading / OMS Integration
A leading global financial services organization is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a rapidly growing Buy-Side Trading business. This role will focus on client onboarding, OMS integrations, FIX connectivity, and front-office trading workflow implementations across a multi-asset trading environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in trading workflows, OMS platforms, and client-facing implementation delivery within institutional financial markets.
This position supports a global outsourced trading platform serving hedge funds, asset managers, sovereign wealth funds, and institutional clients. The team partners closely with traders, engineering, operations, vendors, and external clients across the U.S. and UK.
Responsibilities

• Lead OMS implementation and FIX integration projects between client trading platforms and internal systems
• Support end-to-end client onboarding initiatives across Equities, Fixed Income, Futures, FX, and related asset classes
• Coordinate implementation efforts with:
  • Clients
  • Trading desks
  • Engineering and Product teams
  • OMS vendors
  • Brokers and trading venues
• Gather, document, and validate detailed business and technical requirements
• Design, analyze, and support end-to-end trading workflows including:
  • Order creation
  • Execution
  • Allocation
  • Post-trade processing
• Manage client-facing meetings, implementation timelines, status reporting, and issue resolution
• Support UAT testing, production pilots, and go-live execution activities
• Perform basic SQL queries and transaction data analysis for reporting, reconciliation, and troubleshooting
• Coordinate across global stakeholders, including trading teams in Boston and London
• Support onboarding and integrations with trading venues such as Tradeweb, MarketAxess, Bloomberg, and related platforms

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience within the financial services industry
• Strong experience implementing and supporting Order Management Systems (OMS)
• Hands-on FIX protocol integration experience
• Deep understanding of front-office trading workflows and the full trade lifecycle
• Subject matter expertise in:
  • Fixed Income (preferred), and/or
  • Equities
• Experience supporting buy-side and/or sell-side trading environments
• Strong client management and stakeholder communication skills
• Experience managing multiple implementations and evolving client requirements in fast-paced environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments using tools such as JIRA

  • Credit Products
  • MBS / ABS products
• Experience coordinating with Engineering, Product, Operations, and external vendors
• Previous experience managing small teams or implementation workstreams
