Posted: Jul 10, 2026 Department Quick Care Clinic Schedule Full-Time - 36 Hours/Week Shift Varied Facility Quick Care Clinic Job Description Daviess Community Hospital is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner(NP) or a Physician Assistant (PA) . Position requires the ability toeducate patients and families on medications, diseases, treatment plansand procedures for a diverse patient population. Effectively collaboratewith members of the healthcare team to offer the best patient care andensure good outcomes are achieved. Develops treatment plans for acute and chronic diseases. Educating and guiding patients on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle habits. Understands the changes in health promotion throughout the aging process. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development overthe life span and the skills necessary to provide age appropriate careto the patients served. Performs diagnostic tests and screening evaluations. Managing overall patient care regarding lifestyle and development issues. Emphasizing preventative care and disease management. Communicates appropriately and clearly to coworkers. Prescribes medications while using medication references as needed. Treats patients and their families with respect and dignity. Identifies and addresses psychosocial, cultural, ethnic and religious/spiritualneeds of patients and family. Revises plan of care as indicated by the patient's response to treatment. Completes computerized documentation in patient's charts in appropriatetime frame. Knowledge of established clinic policies and procedures, objectives, performanceimprovement program, safety, environmental and infection control standards. Qualifications Current Nurse Practitioner License or current Physician Assistant license Current BLS certification. ACLS certified. Confident in diagnosing, treating, education, and assisting patients ofall ages to manage illnesses.
