In our time of Company growth, we are seeking a Dental Assistant

Work Location: Bradenton, Florida.
As part of this role, you will:

• Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations, safety protocols, TJC, and other accreditation standards and laws Operates according to the dental program's SOPs
• Perform four-handed dentistry procedures
• Prepare operatory for patient services
• Sterilize equipment and instruments, following all infection prevention and control guidelines of the dental program and MCR Health
• Perform simple maintenance of equipment
• Prepare tray set-ups for all procedures
• Assist the Lead DA with the management and restocking of supplies
• Take accurate radiographs as prescribed by the dentist
• Give post-operative and oral hygiene instructions to patients
• Take and records patient's vital signs

Requirements

What you need to bring to this role:

• Certificate in Dental Assisting required (Dental Assistant Expanded Function Certificate from an institution accredited by the Council on Dental Accreditation (CODA) of the American Dental Association preferred OR Certificate in Expanded Function & Radiology preferred.)
• At least 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant preferred
• Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute Required
• Ability to prove graduation from an accredited school
• Microsoft Office Products - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint proficiency preferred.
• Valid government-issued ID
