Hourly Wage Estimate: $36.50 - $53.25 / hour RN Burn and Surgical Reconstruction Work on our 20‑bed Med Surg unit that services Burn Service line patients. The patient population may include Burns, Frostbites, Stevens‑Johnson Syndrome, large tissue flaps, skin grafting, surgical site wounds, debridement, burns, and wound vacs. The unit collaborates closely with the plastic surgery team. Job Summary and Qualifications As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care, collaborate with medical providers and the care team, and follow nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” You will act as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, supporting the organization’s vision, mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience. Responsibilities Assess the patient’s condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting changes in patient status. Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical provider(s), ensuring thorough and timely documentation in the patient’s medical record. Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in event of unintended response. Respond promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipate needs, and resolve them. Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical condition, treatment plan, medications, side effects, and follow‑up measures, translating complex terminology. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) with valid RN license. Registered Nurse Diploma (RN). Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) obtained within 30 days of start date.
