• Position: CVOR Registered Nurse (Cardiovascular Operating Room RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,500 - $2,630
• Shift: Day shift, Monday through Friday, approximately 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• Shifts Per Week: 5
• Call Requirement: On-call coverage required on a rotating schedule
• Setting: Cardiovascular Operating Room / Inpatient Surgical Services
• Location: Youngstown, Ohio
• Start Date: 09/14/2026

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Minimum of 2 years of cardiac nursing experience required
• At least 1-2 years of general nursing experience required
• Previous travel RN experience preferred
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certification required
• Dysrhythmia exam required
• Ability to work in a high-acuity surgical and perioperative environment
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to support perioperative patient care and maintain strict sterile technique

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room
• Circulate for cardiac surgery and general surgical procedures as needed
• Assist with pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient care
• Support procedures such as CABG, TAVR, VATS, and other open general surgeries
• Monitor patient condition and respond appropriately throughout the surgical experience
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient care
• Maintain sterile field standards and follow all safety and infection prevention protocols
• Participate in on-call coverage and provide timely response when scheduled
