Join a Growing Healthcare Construction Leader An established and highly respected commercial general contractor specializing in healthcare construction is seeking a Senior Estimator to join its preconstruction team in Chester County, PA. This organization has built a strong reputation for delivering complex renovations, additions, and new construction projects for hospitals, medical office buildings, outpatient facilities, ambulatory surgery centers, behavioral health facilities, and specialty healthcare environments throughout the Greater Philadelphia region. Responsibilities Prepare accurate conceptual, schematic, design development, and hard bid estimates for healthcare construction projects. Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from architectural and engineering drawings. Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documentation to identify scope, risks, and pricing opportunities. Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and supplier proposals. Develop detailed scopes of work and bid packages. Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews. Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and internal project teams during preconstruction. Assist with budgeting, procurement planning, and project buyout. Maintain current knowledge of labor, material, and market pricing trends. Support business development efforts by participating in client presentations and proposal preparation. Preferred Project Experience Candidates with experience estimating any of the following project types are highly encouraged to apply: Hospitals Medical Office Buildings (MOBs) Outpatient & Ambulatory Surgery Centers Behavioral Health Facilities Imaging Centers Laboratories Pharmaceutical Facilities Medical Renovations Occupied Healthcare Renovations Healthcare Additions & Expansions Qualifications 5+ years of estimating experience with a commercial general contractor. Healthcare construction estimating experience strongly preferred. Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and sequencing. Ability to interpret architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings. Experience preparing conceptual budgets through GMP and hard bid estimates. Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
