Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while exploring a new location.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program. Doctoral degree acceptable.
Active Texas Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
Current BCLS (AHA) certification required.
National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) required or preferred by client. AOTA and OTAC membership preferred.
Minimum 1-2 years of clinical Occupational Therapy experience in acute care, inpatient, or outpatient settings. Experience in critical access or small hospital settings preferred.
Experience treating med/surg, orthopedics, and ICU patients preferred.

Assignment Details

Facility Type: Hospital (Critical Access Hospital, 25 beds; inpatient and outpatient care).
Shift Name: Days.
Shift Details: Days 0800-1700.
Patient Population: Inpatients and outpatients; units include Med/Surg, ICU, swing beds, orthopedics, and cardiac cath lab.
Weekend and holiday coverage: Per department needs.
Dress Code: Scrubs, no specific color.
