Warehouse Associate

Warehouse PositionThis is a full-time non-exempt position. Hours of work are 7:45 A.M. – 4:30 P.M. with a 45 minute lunch break. Warehouse employees are expected to be available to work a 40 hour week during the hours our warehouse is open. Shifts may vary depending on business needs. Mandatory seasonal overtime will be required.Reports To: Assistant Ops/Warehouse ManagerEssential FunctionsReceiving in items, unpacking and checking PO against the Corvette Central websiteWriting up overages, shortages and returns to vendor and give to Team LeaderChecking in UPS deliveriesHot picking partsProcessing returns to vendorPulling pieces and making in-house kitsAccurately Picking Orders for CustomersMatching special order parts to designated ordersOrganizing parts on shelvesPutting together boxes for pickingUsing a handheld scanner to track parts pickedPicking and putting away parts using the carouselCycle counting for inventory management and controlVerifying product adjustments with additional cycle countingBacking up the shipping department as neededBoxing/Packaging and label items/orders for shippingPutting parts away on shelvesInvoicing outgoing customer ordersAuditing orders for proper labeling, parts, and number of itemsLoading the UPS trailerOperating hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas.Operating the stretch wrap banders.Performing all computer functions necessary for the fulfillment and shipping processMaintaining the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and following prescribed safety regulations.We focus on excellent customer service and we take pride and great care in every order we fill for our customersKey skills and competencies of the position include, but are not limited to:High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and NAV ERP systemBasic knowledge of MathPrevious experience with shipping software, UPS/FedEx or similarReliable and punctualHighly motivated and able to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to maintain grace under pressure and contribute to a positive work environmentThe successful candidate's qualifications will include:Ability to use pallet jacks, RF or barcode scanners and climb laddersAbility to lift up to 50 pounds consistentlyEmployees will be responsible for reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, scanning, placing materials, as well as physical bending, twisting, kneeling and etc. in a safe and efficient manner.Seeing to read and review material for accuracy.Hearing and speaking to exchange information with co-workersAbility to stand for extended periods of time.
