Sharpman Counseling is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team. This full-time remote position focuses on delivering high-quality therapeutic services to individuals and families facing emotional and behavioral challenges. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant master's level license, such as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW, and will possess at least two years of experience in the mental health field.

Key Responsibilities\nAs a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

- Implementing established mental health therapy techniques and interventions in individual sessions, as well as family and group settings, tailored to meet the specific needs of clients. \n
- Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate emotional and behavioral disorders, followed by development of initial discharge plans as needed. \n
- Facilitating individual, group, or family sessions based on the individualized treatment plans you create in collaboration with your clients. \n
- Creating and revising treatment plans based on assessments, ensuring that each patient's needs are accurately addressed and that necessary additional services are coordinated. \n
- Maintaining precise documentation of therapy services in compliance with both facility standards and best practices. \n
- Managing a dedicated caseload while participating in regular treatment team meetings, contributing positively to co-worker collaboration to enhance patient outcomes. \n
- Demonstrating professionalism and empathy consistently, prioritizing patient safety and addressing any unmet needs or complaints promptly. \n
- Taking on additional responsibilities as assigned, contributing to the overall team objectives and mission of the organization. \n
Your role will focus on supporting a diverse clientele, including both adults and younger populations, such as children and adolescents. Through tailored therapeutic interventions, you will work collaboratively with clients to address their unique circumstances, fostering a safe and supportive environment that encourages personal growth. The goal is to help clients navigate their challenges, achieve emotional stability, and realize their vision for an improved quality of life.
Qualifications\nTo qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

- A master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related Human Services field. \n
- State or national licensure (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) and eligibility for state licensure as a professional therapy provider. \n
- Strong foundational knowledge in mental health therapies and techniques, along with skills specific to adolescent and adult counseling. \n
Ideal candidates will have:

- A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, particularly in outpatient settings. \n
- Experience engaging with diverse populations, demonstrating flexibility and cultural competency in therapeutic practice. \n
