Position Summary

The Estimator / Quoting Coordinator is responsible for inspecting incoming equipment, preparing repair estimates, creating customer quotes, and coordinating with internal teams throughout the repair process. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate pricing, exceptional customer service, and profitable project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate electric motors, pumps, generators, and other rotating equipment to determine repair requirements.

• Prepare accurate labor, material, and parts estimates.

• Create, submit, and follow up on customer quotations.

• Coordinate with technicians, purchasing, and production teams to ensure timely job completion.

• Track job costs and update estimates as repairs progress.

• Maintain accurate records of estimates, repair orders, and completed jobs.

• Assist with purchasing activities, supplier quotes, and order management.

• Support invoice preparation and verify charges against approved estimates.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate degree or technical certification preferred).

• 2+ years of estimating, service coordination, logistics, or administrative experience in an industrial, mechanical, or repair environment.

• Mechanical or electrical aptitude; experience with electric motors, pumps, or rotating equipment is a plus.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP or job management software.

• Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
