Position Summary:

Primarliy responsible for the cleaning of the dishwashing area as well as the sanitation of the plant, bathrooms, lunchroom and locker rooms.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for properly handling various cleaning chemicals
• Responsible for periodically running the floor scrubber
• May assist, if not be responsible for allergen cleans and other sanitizing initiatives throughout the production areas using water pressure hose and chemicals.
• Empty trash cans and cardboard in production area, break room and offices
• Clean spills in the plant and offices
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications, Education Requirements, and Preferred Skills

• High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent sanitation experience

Physical Requirements:

• Walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing for long periods of time
• Lift and or move items over 50 lbs.
• Must not have food allergies such as eggs or nuts
• Must be able to work in a cool (under 70 degrees) and damp environment

Additional Requirements:

• Training in proper use and handling of cleaning chemicals, techniques for cookie dies, blocks and harps.
• Training in general sanitation techniques to maintain a high standard for bathroom and lunchroom cleaning.
