Hospitalist Physician – Inpatient Care – Brattleboro, VT

Join a leading community hospital in Brattleboro, Vermont, as a full-time Hospitalist, delivering quality inpatient care in a supportive environment. • Experience: Prior inpatient/hospitalist experience preferred

What You’ll Do

• Provide inpatient adult medical care in a community hospital setting
• Respond to codes and rapid response situations
• Manage ventilator and step-down patients (vent management preferred)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient discharge and transitional care
• Document patient care accurately in Cerner EMR
• Participate in weekend coverage as scheduled
• Maintain a collegial relationship with ED, surgical, and nursing staff
• Contribute to patient safety and continuous quality improvement initiatives

What You Need

• Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active Vermont medical license (pending licensure, credentialing approx. 90 days)
• 2+ years of inpatient or hospitalist experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Comfortable with EMR documentation and rapid response protocols
