Transfer Assistant

Find your purpose as a Transfer Assistant in our Transfer Center! Each year more than 21000 patients move into out of or within CentraCare facilities. Many of those patients are critically ill with time sensitive diagnoses or complex needs. CentraCare's Transfer Center gives clinicians a comprehensive resource for managing their patients movement and ensure each patient receives the best possible care throughout the process. Working closely with providers and nursing staff the Transfer Assistant facilitates outgoing transfers for all CentraCare sites manages physician to physician consult requests and assists with incoming transfers to all CentraCare hospitals using a PC based call handling system.

Schedule: Full-time | 72 hours every two weeks | On-site St. Cloud Hospital

Nights | 12-hr shifts | 7pm-7:30am | Every other weekend and holiday

Pay and Benefits: Starting pay begins at 21.96 per hour exact wage determined by years of related experience

Pay range: 19.53-29.28 per hour

Qualifications: Associate's degree in related field or equivalent work experience

1 year of healthcare or call center experience

Previous healthcare experience required

Previous experience using a PC based phone system preferred

General computer knowledge preferred
