Associate, PurchasingService Champions is seeking an experienced Purchasing Associate to support our Operations Department by managing procurement processes, supplier relationships, and inventory coordination. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. If you have a strong inventory management and purchasing background, we encourage you to apply.Responsibilities:Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in details, quantities, and specificationsResearch and assess supplier capabilities, pricing, and product qualityMaintain accurate records of purchase transactions, contracts, and agreementsPrepare monthly and annual purchasing reports for management reviewCollaborate with inventory management teams to monitor stock levels and reorder pointsTrack order status and promptly report any delivery issues to supervisorsEnsure compliance with company procurement policies and relevant regulationsProvide administrative support, including filing, data entry, and report generationQualifications:Minimum of two years of experience in inventory or purchasingStrong verbal and written communication skills for vendor negotiations and issue resolutionAbility to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal teamsProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data management and analysisStrong analytical skills for evaluating vendor quotes, comparing prices, and assessing product qualityAbility to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlinesUnderstanding of budgeting and financial best practices to ensure cost-effective purchasingFamiliarity with procurement policies and legal compliance requirementsCompensation & Benefits:Competitive pay based on experienceComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage401K with company matchCompany-paid life insurancePaid vacation and holidaysOpportunities for professional growth and advancementPay Range: $20 - $24 USDAbout Service Champions:A career with Service Champions can change your life.
