Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 5 years License: Valid RN license in the state of employment Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred Description: The position requires managing care for adult patients with various diagnoses. Responsibilities include administering medications and monitoring patient conditions. Nurses must demonstrate skills in telemetry and manage dysrhythmias. Experience in using charting systems is preferred. The nurse will work with interdisciplinary teams for patient management. On-call duties may be required as needed. Weekend shifts are expected every other week. Compliance with safety protocols and isolation precautions is essential. Documentation must be maintained accurately for all patient interactions. Professionalism and effective communication with patients and their families are crucial. The role involves frequent monitoring of vital signs and other assessments. Ability to maintain a positive patient experience is a priority.
