Competitive pay: $18.00 - $20.35/hour DOE Comprehensive benefits package. Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. & rotating every eighth weekend. Campus-based work environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Clean and maintain resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other assigned spaces throughout the campus. Perform routine dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, sanitizing, and restroom cleaning. Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with established procedures. Replenish cleaning and restroom supplies as needed. Follow established cleaning schedules, procedures, and infection-control practices. Safely operate and maintain housekeeping equipment and use cleaning products according to manufacturer and safety guidelines. Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, and needed repairs to the appropriate department. Provide courteous and respectful service to residents, visitors, and staff. Assist with special cleaning projects and other housekeeping duties as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience preferred. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established cleaning procedures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Dependable, punctual, and service-oriented. Ability to communicate effectively and interact respectfully with residents, visitors, and coworkers. Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in a residential care environment. Physical Requirements Lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday. Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach while performing cleaning tasks. Push and pull housekeeping carts and cleaning equipment. Perform repetitive motions associated with cleaning, including mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and wiping. Work indoors and outdoors as needed and in varying environmental conditions.
