Line Cooks play a crucial role in delivering quality meals in a dynamic kitchen environment. Working within a medium team of 4-6 cooks, line cooks prepare and cook food items, ensure proper plating, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and quality. Reporting directly to the Head Chef, they manage their shifts with a focus on teamwork and menu execution. The position involves weekday shifts along with regular weekend and holiday hours to meet service demands.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food according to menu specifications
- Plate dishes attractively and according to presentation guidelines
- Maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards in all work areas
- Perform quality control checks to ensure dish consistency
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Execute menu items promptly during service periods
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen team members
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in food preparation
