Responsibilities
- Design and build complex web applications using modern .NET technologies and related frameworks
- Develop and maintain scalable solutions that support healthcare workflows, including claims processing and member and provider data management
- Create and optimize database logic using SQL Server, including queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning
- Develop and manage data integration solutions using Microsoft SSIS
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product owners, business analysts, and quality assurance professionals to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Lead and support Agile development practices, contributing to sprint planning, execution, and continuous improvement
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership to ensure adherence to coding standards and development best practices
- Identify opportunities to improve development processes and implement innovative technical solutions
- Conduct technical evaluations to enhance system performance and reliability
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
- Ensure software quality, security, and compliance with industry standards
Required Experience and Skills
- 7 or more years of experience in software development
- Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET , VB.NET , MVC, Angular, SQL, and Entity Framework
- Hands-on experience in web application development
- Deep understanding of healthcare systems, including claims workflows, member and provider data, and EDI 837 transactions
- Advanced experience working with SQL Server, including query development and database optimization
- Practical experience with Microsoft SSIS for data integration and ETL processes
- Experience working in Agile environments with the ability to guide team members and support delivery goals
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while mentoring and supporting less experienced team members
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is preferred
