Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiologic Technologist for an outpatient clinic setting, requiring ARRT R certification and 2+ years of experience in general radiology.

Details

• Outpatient general radiology clinic setting with patient access
• Diagnostic X-ray and surgical radiology duties
• 8 hour shifts, 40 hours per week, 5 days per week
• Must be flexible to work any shift including days, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays
• May be required to respond to an on-call pager
• Uses Epic for charting
• On-site position with no teleworking option

Requirements

• ARRT R certification required
• BLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• 2 years of experience in general radiology, diagnostic X-ray, and surgical settings, and/or 3 total travel assignments
• Active state license required if applicable
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and independent work skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Produces high quality diagnostic images meeting departmental standards
• Requires competence with a variety of radiologic equipment and technology
• Follows safety guidelines for self, staff, and patients
• Fosters teamwork through effective communication
• Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations and shift lengths
• Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment due to low census
• Travelers may remain on assignment up to one year from initial start date before requiring a break before returning
