RN Float Pool Med Surg PCU

Job Summary Registered Nurse (RN) Float Pool – Med/Surg/PCU. Provide clinical expertise in medical-surgical, telemetry, and progressive care environments, ensuring high-quality, efficient care for all patients. Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate care for Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Progressive Care patients. Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions. Maintain and review patient records including posting test and examination results. Administer medications in accordance with physician orders. Qualifications Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse (or appropriate compact license with an active FL RN license within 60 days). Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred. Experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred. Current American Heart Association BLS certification required. Current American Heart Association ACLS certification required (6‑month grace period from hire date). Current NIHSS certification required (6‑month grace period from hire date). Additional credentials such as CCRN, ONC, PCCN, Cardiac/Vascular Nursing, Medical‑Surgical RN, or CMSRN accepted. Critical thinking, service excellence, strong interpersonal communication, and PC skills. No travel required. 1 year of experience required.
