Vince Ovecka State Farm is seeking a customer-focused Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team as a Customer Retention Specialist.

This is a service-dominant position for someone who genuinely enjoys helping customers, solving problems, and building lasting relationships.

You'll assist existing customers with policy needs, billing questions, renewals, coverage reviews, and account updates while identifying opportunities to provide additional insurance protection.

While service and retention are the primary focus, this is not a service-only role. Team members are expected to recognize customer needs, recommend appropriate coverage, and confidently transition service conversations into inside sales opportunities.

Hybrid Work Opportunity

We offer a hybrid schedule combining in-office work with the opportunity to work from home several days each week.

• Fully licensed candidates with prior State Farm agency experience may qualify for an immediate hybrid schedule.

• Candidates new to State Farm or still completing training will begin working in-office.

• Once training is completed and team members demonstrate confidence, independence, and proficiency with agency systems and processes, they may transition to a hybrid schedule.

• Hybrid eligibility is based on licensing, experience, training completion, and demonstrated ability to work independently.

Licensing Requirements

• Property & Casualty license must be obtained before your Day 1 start date.

• Life & Health licenses must be obtained within the agency's established timeframe after starting.

• Licensing guidance, study resources, and support are provided.

• Fully licensed candidates are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

• Provide exceptional customer service and support to existing policyholders.

• Assist with policy changes, billing questions, renewals, and account updates.

• Help customers navigate claims-related questions and concerns.

• Conduct proactive outreach, follow-up, and coverage reviews.

• Build strong customer relationships that support retention.

• Identify coverage gaps and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.

• Cross-sell Auto, Home, Renters, Life, and other available products.

• Confidently transition service conversations into inside sales opportunities.

• Ask for the business and close appropriate sales opportunities.

• Maintain accurate records and contribute to service and retention goals.
